Asateel (ITC) Registration Process & GPS installation - Step by Step Guide

As per the new rule, you need to activate the "ASATEEL PERMIT" for Commercial Vehicles (Passenger & Freight Transport) moving inside Abu Dhabi Emirate.

 1. Company Registration

+ Documents Required

A. Trade license copy

B. Company logo (.jpeg file)

C. Email id (Need to receive OTP to verify)

D. Mobile Number (Need to receive OTP to verify)

+ Steps for Registration

1.1. Click the link https://asateel.itc.gov.ae/iavmep to register your Company

1.2. Choose the option: "Start Register Wizard"

1.3. Select option for "Inside Abu Dhabi" or "Outside Abu Dhabi"

     "Select the appropriate option based on the location where your company registered its trade license (either within Abu Dhabi or outside Abu Dhabi)"

 

1.4. Accepting Terms and Conditions for the Platform Usage

1.5. Next provide the following details

1.5.1. Trade License Number

1.5.2. Trade License Expiry Date

Warning: Be very careful while entering the Arabic text for the company name and contact person. Providing incorrect information will result in the rejection of the application.

Once the company registration is successfully completed, then you will be granted access to the Asateel Platform, where you can make requests for permits related to tracking and monitoring activities.

2. Vehicle Registration

After successful registration of your company on the Asateel Platform, you may add the vehicles under its profile. Subsequently, a tracking device must be installed in the vehicle from an ITC approved supplier. You will get the ITC approved vendors list from the Asateel website https://itc.gov.ae/services.

+ Documents Required

A. Mulkiya Copy of any Vehicle

B. Authorized Mobile Number linked to ITC portal (to receive OTP)

C. GPS Tracking System Installation Certificate from an approved Supplier

+ Steps for Registration

2.1. Go to Administration Menu > Vehicle > Vehicle Register

2.2. Click on "Add Traffic Code"  and input your TC Number

"All Vehicles registered under the specified TC Number will automatically be linked to your Asateel account"

3. Driver Registration

A. Valid UAE ID Card

B. Driving License

C. Health Certificate (from SEHA)

D. Training Certificate

Please note that it is not mandatory to finish the vehicle registration process before adding drivers to the company's profile

4. Obtaining Permits

Companies can apply for necessary permits from ITC using their profile on the Asateel Platform
